The Good Lovelies
From Riches to Rags to Life on the Road
Funny and upbeat, with just a pinch of sass, the Good Lovelies' textbook three-part harmonies, constant instrument swapping and witty on-stage banter have enlivened the folk music landscape since they joined forces in 2006 for their first show at Toronto's funky Gladstone Hotel.

Oh My Darling
With a sweet name and even sweeter sound, Oh My Darling conjures up the right mix of emotion and elation with their unique brand of country. Their prairie roots mixed with bluegrass, Appalachian old time, southern twang, and Franco-folk, makes their style a melting pot of musical languages. Infused with dynamic vocals, brilliant claw-hammer banjo, inspired fiddling, and grooving bass, their music will get your hips swinging, toes tapping, and put your heart right into their hands.

MTC
The popular Manitoba Theatre Center will present "The Melville Boys"
by Norm Foster to our series this year.
Lee and Owen Melville arrive at a lakeside cabin for a relaxing weekend of fishing and brotherly bonding. Before they can open their tackle boxes, their plans are not-so-rudely interrupted by the arrival of two attractive, but very different, sisters. Canadian playwright Norm Foster shows why he's often compared to Neil Simon with this funny and tender play about four people cast adrift who help each other find their way.

Arrogant Worms
As the best music ages, its complexity increases, reaching towards an elusive, near mystical peak, with bitterness yielding to a soft, mellow perfection. The Arrogant Worms have been aged 20 years and on "Hindsight 20/20", we are treated to the finest of the Ch’teau des Worms. Worth it for the dance remix of "The Last Saskatchewan Pirate" alone. Old wine in new bottles? Yes please.
